Women’s History Month marks the halfway point to the September’s SisterSpace Weekend, one of the longest-running women’s festivals in the USA as well as the tri-state region!
SisterSpace is celebrating the past, present and future of women’s arts, health, community and spirit, with a fundraiser for the organization featuring a guest reception with interactive art and performance followed by three hours of dancing.
The festivities will take place at the Mt. Airy Art Garage on
Saturday, March 21 from 6pm-10pm.
Advance tickets to this will be $15 or $20 at the door which includes light refreshments, beer, and wine while supplies last. Guests are invited to BYOB.
The party begins with a one hour reception filled with interactive art and performance including painting, poetry, and open mic featuring special guests Debra D’ Alessandro, Suzi Nash, Dani Ocean and others who will create art, and perform music and spoken word while guests meet and mingle over complimentary wine,bearand snacks.
Our SisterSpace DJ will kick the party into high gear with an energetic and eclectic mix of dance music for the following three hours.
